We Miss You Brent. So many stories have been shared, and your memory is living on stronger then you could ever imagine.  But still...we just wish you were here.

Brent's truest and timeless friends have organized the Brent Verch Scholarship which will carry his name and his dedication of being an incredible, and always fair athlete.

 The details are attached, and the chosen candidate will not only meet the listed academic parameters, but will represent Brent's love for sports, his true competitiveness, but in the end, always  to be a fair and honorable athlete. 

We will always remember those words, "STEP UP!"   

Value of $4,000.00

Minimum Qualification requirements.

Must be a two sport athlete with El Segund High School.

Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 for their senior year.

Parameters for Selection.

A minimum of two and a maximum of four athletes will be selected by Craig Cousins and the current athletic director of El Segundo High School.

All nominated athletes must meet with the Brent Verch Scholarship Committee.

Minimum standards and schedule for Payment.

Must show proof of registration to a 4 year University or Junior College.
The first payment of $2,000.00 will be paid upon proof of registration.
Must show proof of a minimum of 12 units and a minimum of a 2.5 GPA from the first semester of college.
The second payment of $2,000.00 will be paid upon proof of a minimum of 12 units and a minimum of a 2.5 GPA from the first semester of college.
